Melody Lew Will Present Update about
Experiences Helping Nepalese Children

Long-time branch member Melody Lew will give a follow-up slide lecture on her experiences helping impoverished children in Nepal in a special program set for Saturday, February 22, at 1 p.m. at the San Mateo County Community College District Office Boardroom, 3401 CSM Drive, San Mateo.

Four years ago Melody spoke to us on “My Personal Effort to Help the Children of Nepal.” When we heard that she had recently returned from Nepal, we asked Melody to bring us up to date on what had occurred since we heard her first talk.

Most of us make donations to charitable organizations that help poor children overseas, but Melody has made it her personal goal to be involved directly in the process. It should be interesting to see what she has been able to achieve. The meeting is free and open to all AAUW members, family and friends.
