Kay Payne Lecture Set for January 5th
Will Feature Vermeer and His Times

“Visiting Vermeer–A Journey to the 17th Century” will be the subject of Kay Payne, head docent of the Fine Arts of San Fran-cisco, when she speaks to our members on Saturday, January 5th at 1 p.m.

Kay’s talk and slide presentation will discuss the paintings of Johannes Vermeer and other artists from the 17th century Golden Age of Dutch paintings and the environment which helped create this magnificent period in European art history. Her annual visit is always a highlight of our year.

The program will be held at the SMCCC District Office Boardroom, 3401 CSM Drive, San Mateo and is free and open to all AAUW members, family and friends.
